Get upgraded protection with this adjustable mud flap and rock screen kit. The heavy-duty rubber flaps and rip-stop mesh screen shield your truck and towables from flying rocks, debris, and mud.
Features:
Specs:
Note: To use Rock Tamers, there must be at least 1" of clearance between the back of the ball mount face and the trailer hitch receiver opening.
Rock Tamers are adjustable to fit your specific vehicle's wheelbase. The mats move horizontally along the support rods and expand from 67-3/4" to 97-1/4" wide. The mats can also be adjusted vertically so that you can maintain proper ground clearance no matter the load you are carrying.
The mats include pre-cut lines on the back in 1-1/2" sections so that you can trim the Rock Tamers to the appropriate length for your vehicle. A punch tool is included to create holes in the mud flap for attaching the installation clamp bolts.

Order came fast ..super helpful on the phone
Great product, easy to install.
Installed them and absolutely love them! We'll see how they perform for the long term .. but they look great!

was great to work with!
Easy to install and very stable on the truck.
This will definately help keep the rocks from hitting my boat. Easy to put together with the YouTube instructional videos. Looking forward to testing it out on the Northern Ontario logging roads.
Fast shipping, work well
Seems like a great product, well built and very adjustable. I wish the marketing section said you would most likely need a receiver hitch that has an extended draw bar for the extra 1” of space required by the rock tamer. I did go to the rock tamer website and search there for the info and finally found it, but would be nice to let you know ahead of purchase. Also the rock screen I purchased has some plastic pieces for weight I guess on the bottom of the screen. They do not clip in and stay on I have tried multiple times with no positive results.
Thinking we were doing the right thing when getting mud flaps for our dually. We were wrong and so disappointed. Then we heard about Rock Tammers. What a difference. Not a single rock ding since we've put them on. Highly recommend if you want to protect the front of your 5th wheel.
Mud flaps look great, good material, and shipping was fast. What I don’t like is how much the brace and arms move around with the hitch. I have a 2.5” that I never have issues with and plenty of space, but it does make me nervous with it back there. Overall though, I would buy again.
Absolutely love these, easy to install and the quality is second to none!

That’s awesome to hear, and I know exactly what you mean. Those first few rock dings on a 5th wheel can make your stomach drop a bit. Really glad the Rock Tamers made that kind of difference for you. They’re a big step up from standard mud flaps, especially on a dually where you’ve got a lot more tire throwing stuff around. Getting to the point where you’re not worrying about every little rock is a huge win. Appreciate you sharing that, it’s super helpful for anyone towing a 5th wheel and trying to protect the front cap. What are you pulling with your setup?
